Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional experience working with backend web technologies.
• Experience in software development for large-scale systems.
• Strong foundation in computer science, with solid competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Extensive experience in building and deploying web services using APIs.
• Experience working with Node.js and Express.
• Experience handling SQL databases.
• Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Collaborate with professionals on local and international projects.
• Design and implement new features, and debug and fix issues.
• Document code and APIs to assist other developers.
• Work proactively in an agile and remote environment.
• Technical communication in written English.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with AWS and Heroku platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with Python or PHP.
• Understanding of stored procedures, functions, and database security.
• Comfort with working in a fully remote team environment.
• Experience with non-relational databases like MongoDB.
• Experience working with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar).
• Experience designing software for small or large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like React or Next.js.
• Git at a maintainer level (working with multiple branches, conflict resolution, etc.).
