This past September 26th and 27th, we had the opportunity to participate in the inaugural edition of EXPOCON in Tucum\u00e1n, an unprecedented event in our province dedicated to the knowledge economy. It was an incredible experience that allowed us to showcase our projects, connect with other technology enthusiasts, and reaffirm our commitment to development from our region. At Lab9, we have always believed\u2014and firmly trusted\u2014that talent from Tucum\u00e1n can have a global impact. By participating in this event, we realized that this potential continues to grow stronger every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connecting with the Innovation Community<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our participation in EXPOCON was a chance to engage with the community, receive direct feedback, and share our experiences with everyone who visited our stand. It was a pleasure to witness the curiosity and enthusiasm of the attendees, from students interested in technology to professionals from diverse industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the event, we shared success stories from our collaborations with international brands like Lays, Schweppes, and Marvel. It was an honor to show how, from Tucum\u00e1n, we were able to work together to create technological solutions that meet the standards of the world\u2019s most competitive markets. Many were surprised to learn that a company based in northern Argentina could achieve such extensive international reach. Without a doubt, this was one of the event\u2019s highlights for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Showcasing Projects and Interactive Talks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the event, we presented some of our latest projects and held interactive talks and activities to explain our approach to software development, UX\/UI design, and branding. For us, it wasn\u2019t just about showcasing finished products but involving the audience in the \u201chow\u201d and \u201cwhy\u201d behind our methodologies.\nWe loved seeing people take an interest in how we work, ask questions about our processes, and learn about the Design Sprint methodology we apply to deliver innovative projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The talks were an excellent opportunity to share the value of user-centered design and the impact of well-planned strategic consulting. We encountered many attendees eager to apply these concepts to their own projects, which filled us with satisfaction and further motivation. We felt especially happy to inspire young students who showed genuine interest in learning and growing in the tech world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remote Work: Local Talent, Global Impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the topics that drew the most attention was our 100% remote work model. For us, being a distributed company is not just a workplace advantage; it\u2019s a way to retain and nurture local talent. From our home offices, we collaborate with teams and clients worldwide, and we\u2019re proud to say we do so while staying rooted in Tucum\u00e1n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many people approached our stand to ask how our remote team operates, and we shared our experiences working with multinational clients from the province. On a personal level, these were some of the most enriching conversations, as we felt that our story inspired others to consider the possibility of working from Tucum\u00e1n without having to move to pursue big projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What We Learned and Plans for the Future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EXPOCON provided us with an incredible platform for exchange. We heard firsthand what our local community thinks and expects from the tech sector. The opinions and feedback from other attendees gave us a clear idea: there is growing interest in the knowledge economy and innovation in our province, and many people want to be part of this change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a team, we left the event with plenty of ideas for the future. We know technology continues to evolve and that we have a long way to go in developing innovative and accessible solutions. This event further strengthened our desire to keep betting on Tucum\u00e1n\u2019s talent and to become a benchmark not just for our international clients but also for our entire community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For us, this first edition was a milestone, and we are proud to have been part of an event that will undoubtedly shape the path for the knowledge economy in Tucum\u00e1n. Sharing our projects and experiences and receiving the community\u2019s support and enthusiasm was a reminder that effort and dedication are worthwhile. At Lab9, we are committed to continuing to innovate, supporting local talent, and showing the world what Tucum\u00e1n can offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
