This is how we experienced our first EXPOCON in Tucumán at Lab9: innovation and technology from northern Argentina.
Last September 26 and 27, we had the opportunity to participate in the first edition of EXPOCON in Tucumán, an unprecedented event in our province, dedicated to the knowledge economy. It was an incredible experience that allowed us to share our projects, get to know other technology enthusiasts up close, and reaffirm our commitment to development in our region. At Lab9, we always believed (and firmly trust) that Tucumán talent can have a global impact. By participating in this event, we realized that this potential continues to grow more and more.
A meeting with the innovation community.
Our participation at EXPOCON was an opportunity to connect with the community, receive direct feedback and share our experiences with everyone who came to our stand. It was a pleasure to see the curiosity and enthusiasm of the people who visited the exhibition, from students interested in technology to professionals from different sectors.
Throughout the event, we shared success stories from our collaborations with international brands such as Lays, Schweppes and Marvel. It was an honor to tell you how, from Tucumán, we were able to work together to create technological solutions at the level of the most competitive markets in the world. Many were surprised to discover that a company based here in northern Argentina can have such a wide international projection. Without a doubt, this was one of the best parts of the event for us.
Presentation of our projects and interactive talks.
Throughout the event, we shared some of our most recent projects and held talks and interactive activities to explain our approach to software development, UX/UI design and branding. For us, it was not just about showing finished products, but about involving the public in the “how” and “why” of our methodologies. We loved seeing people become interested in our way of working, asking questions about our processes and learning from the Design Sprint methodology that we apply to carry out innovative projects.
The talks were an excellent opportunity to share the value of user-centered design and the impact of well-planned strategic consulting. We met many attendees interested in applying these concepts to their own projects, which filled us with satisfaction and motivated us even more. We were especially happy to be able to inspire the young students who came, who showed a genuine interest in learning and growing in the world of technology.
Remote work: local talent, global impact.
One of the topics that caught the most attention was our 100% remote work model. For us, being a distributed company is not just a work advantage; It is a way to retain and enhance local talent. From our home offices, we manage to collaborate with teams and clients from all over the world, and we are proud to say that we do so while maintaining our roots in Tucumán.
Many people came to our booth to ask about how our remote team works, and we shared our experiences of working with multinationals from the province. On a personal level, this was one of the most enriching conversations, as we felt that our story inspired others to consider the possibility of working from Tucumán without having to move to pursue big projects.
What we learned from the experience and plans for the future.
EXPOCON provided us with an incredible space for exchange. We were able to hear directly what our local community thinks and expects from the technology sector. The opinions and comments of the other attendees left us with a very clear idea: there is a growing interest in the knowledge economy and innovation in our province, and many people want to be part of this change.
As a team, we left the meeting with many ideas for the future. We know that technology continues to evolve and that we have a long way to go to continue developing innovative solutions.flush and accessible. This event has further reaffirmed our desire to continue supporting Tucumán talent and to become a reference not only for our international clients, but also for our entire community.

Tucumán, a growing innovation center.
For us, this first edition was a milestone, and we are proud to have been part of an event that, without a doubt, will lead the way for the knowledge economy in Tucumán. Being able to share our projects and experiences and receive people's support and enthusiasm was a reminder that the effort and dedication are worth it. At Lab9 we are committed to continuing to innovate, supporting local talent and showing the world what we can offer from Tucumán.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in this experience! We feel inspired and motivated to continue developing projects that make a difference.
