Hubspot: One of the most complete automation and marketing programs

HubSpot is a software developer and marketer that offers a wide variety of sales, customer service, and marketing tools. The company that created the inbound methodology.

This methodology is being introduced little by little in Latin America, but it is already highly developed in North America and Europe, it is a new way of thinking about strategies to attract customers to your businesses.

Your sales team needs to understand the context in which your client finds itself, as well as identify the needs and problems it seeks to solve, because as your business grows, you need a system that allows you to document and store all that information.

These are some of the challenges that with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) you can address, since this tool allows you to organize and intelligently use all the information of your prospects and potential clients.

The inbound methodology used by Hubspot can be applied to all departments of your company and is referred to as the “inbound philosophy”, since it can even be applicable to our daily lives.

HubSpot offers a very complete and easy-to-use CRM platform that you can implement in your business.

What is the history of Hubspot?

Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah are the founders of HubSpot.

In 2004 they founded the company because they noticed that the way consumers shop was changing, that they no longer wanted to continue being invaded by commercials or advertisements and from that observation, they developed this new methodology.

Since 2005, which was the year where the company opened its doors, until today, they have not stopped growing. In 2014 HubSpot launched its own CRM on the market.

It is designed to work seamlessly with a company's sales department and is free with the basic version. If you require the most advanced integrations, you must pay a fee.

HubSpot was founded on the inbound principle, which defends the idea that people do not feel comfortable being invaded and pursued by companies to buy their products or services and, to this day, continues to defend that this is the right way to do business.

What is inbound?

While outbound marketing (traditional marketing methods) breaks in directly by presenting the public with content that they do not always want, inbound marketing forms useful connections for the client with the resolution of real problems.

Inbound is the philosophy on which HubSpot built its company. This philosophy adapts to business and can be applied to different areas of a company: for example we have inbound marketing, inbound sales, inbound operations and each one adapts its tasks to this methodology of doing business.

To understand an example of how we can apply inbound in a business, let's see

how inbound marketing works, the main area where HubSpot began to implement this methodology.

It is based on the principles of inbound and is connected to marketing tasks, taking the customer as the center of a company's operations and understanding that they no longer want invasive content that forces them to buy out of insistence.

Inbound marketing seeks to bring quality content to customers, at the time they need it and in the format they are looking for it.

In itself, inbound is a more humane way of doing business that always seeks customer satisfaction.

Inbound strategies: Attraction - Interaction - Delight.

Broadly speaking, this strategy appeals to attracting new ones and retaining old and current customers.

Attract: Create relevant content such as blog articles, posts on social networks, tutorials, emails with news and information that interest them.

To spark interest in your customers through inbound marketing, optimize all content with an SEO strategy, which consists of associating certain phrases and keywords with your products or services, and specify the way in which these can help your customers solve their problems and achieve their goals.

This way, your content will systematically appear on people's search engine results page, and this also corresponds to the target audience you are looking for.

Interact: the way you handle your inbound sales calls, focused on how the customer service team handles calls from interested parties and prospects. Always sell a solution rather than a product.

This will make the deals you close agreements that represent real advantages for both your clients and your company; offering value to ideal customers.

Delight: The inbound marketing delight strategy aims to ensure that the customer feels satisfied, happy and calm after having made a purchase.

Your sales team acts as advisor and advisor even after you have closed the sale. Through chats, surveys, and messages on social networks, we continue to stay in contact with the customer and build trust, guaranteeing a very good shopping experience.

After the global impact generated by the pandemic, the world is mutating to a new way of doing business and a new way of socializing, which large companies could take into account if they want to grow in the new era.

Incorporating new technologies along with a more human view of the way of doing business and, also keeping in mind the satisfaction of employees and customers, are the keys to companies that, even with the pandemic, achieved expansion. HubSpot is an example of them.
