The BIND 4.0 DEMO DAY 2024, held at the Euskalduna Palace on June 27, stood out for presenting 34 innovative projects that address various industrial needs through artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and robotics technologies. 

This event highlighted  the importance of technological innovation and digital transformation in industrial, energy, food and health sectors.

Featured innovations.

Acoustic intelligence and security.

Among the projects presented, acoustic intelligence stood out as an emerging technology. This uses sound-based AI and was implemented by Orona in collaboration with Advanced Algorithms 4 Radar. Together they have developed a system to detect the presence of people in elevators, improving the safety and efficiency of these systems.

Energy efficiency and carbon reduction.

Tubos Reunidos (a company specialized in the production of seamless steel tubes) in collaboration with 51toCarbonZero, presented a project focused on energy efficiency and carbon management. They developed hybrid software and advisory services to achieve carbon neutrality, promoting sustainability in the industrial production of steel pipes.

Ambient noise monitoring.

Ever Smart and AAcústica created a monitor with a dual PM sensor and a low-cost sensor for intelligent monitoring of environmental noise. This project applies IoT technology to improve noise management in different environments.

Automation in the food sector.

Mondragón and Ausolan, in collaboration with Lust 4 Food Brands, presented the development of a tool to automate customer orders in the restaurant sector. This solution improves the shopping experience and operational efficiency from the moment of order to receipt.

Impact on the innovative ecosystem.

The event had the participation of more than 400 attendees, who had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the technological solutions presented. The main conference was led by Carlota Mateos, who highlighted the need for high performance and demand in the process of transforming the innovative ecosystem.

The BIND 4.0 DEMO DAY 2024 has been an essential platform for the presentation of disruptive technologies that seek to improve efficiency, security and sustainability in various sectors.
