Better Homes: success story of a US construction company.
There is something deeply human in imagining one's own home.
That almost automatic exercise that we do when we see a plan, a model or an image: “there I would put the armchair”, “that would be my kitchen”.
Better Homes 4 U understood that. And he turned it into a purpose.
When they came to Lab9, they didn't just bring us an idea or a brand. They brought us a way of thinking about housing: modern, functional, sustainable. And, most importantly, people-centered.
“We want what we do to be seen. But we also want it to be felt,” they told us.
That was the starting point.
A website that doesn't look like a website.
Instead of thinking about “an institutional website”, we think about a digital house.
Something that is not only navigated, but also lived, traveled through, inhabited.
That's why we create an immersive experience with 360° tours, where you can walk through spaces that do not physically exist yet. You turn your gaze, you enter the kitchen, you look at the sky from the patio. Are you there. From your computer From your cell phone. Without moving.
Because Better Homes 4 U doesn't sell houses. Sell vision. And our task was to give digital form to that vision.
Design with purpose, not template.
In the world of web development there are two paths:
➡ The quick and generic one (copy, paste, publish).
➡ And the challenging and personalized one (understand, prototype, build).
We chose the second. Always.
With the Better Homes team we did exactly that:
🔸 Functional prototypes.
🔸 Navigation architecture designed for humans, not robots.
🔸 Aesthetics aligned with their values: clean, solid, warm.
🔸 And a WordPress custom structure, without catalog templates or technical limits.
The result: a website that does not compete for attention, but rather invites you to explore calmly.
More than a portfolio: a living space.
We created a special section to show the projects carried out. Not as a cold catalog of finished works, but as a proudly constructed timeline. Each project has its history, its style, its seal.
In addition, we optimize everything so that loading new developments is easy, agile and clear. Because a good website is not only what the user sees, but how the brand manages it inside.
What is built when it is built well?
What we did with Better Homes was not just a digital development. It was a way to translate architecture into experience.
To go from cement to code.
From the plan to the click.
From the render to the tour.
And that is not achieved with plugins, nor with artificial intelligence.
It is achieved by listening, understanding and co-creating.
And now?
Now the website is online. Breathe. It moves. Receives visitors every day. And each of those visits is someone imagining a new life. A new house. A new story.
That's what we like most about what we do at Lab9: that each project is different, but they all have something in common. People with ideas that deserve to be well told, well shown and well lived.
And if we can turn that into a digital experience, then we're doing our job right.
